Written for the Michaels Trend & Design team’s internal website, this blog post was one of many aimed at keeping the Trend & Design team’s partners in Product Development apprised of seasonal developments in yarn crafting.
While I didn't personally visit the Spring 2019 Round Top Antiques Fair in Southeast Texas, I was tasked with going through all the photographs and notes provided by members of the Michaels Product Development team who were in attendance and pulling together this recap blog post for the Michaels Trend & Design team's internal website.
The Trend Book is a document prepared seasonally by the Michaels Companies, Inc.'s Trend & Design team to introduce their Product Development partners to the art and aesthetics being prepared for upcoming holidays. In 2019, I assisted with assessing the document and reformatting it to include more robust analysis of trend evolutions in the interest of providing said partners with a more solidly rooted understanding of the Trend & Design Team’s creative process.
